It was one of the most amazing experiences I have had on vacation. It's more of a palace than a hotel. The pool area, the rooms, the architecture/design, also the quality of the food. The gardens, the breakfast inner court/patio left us speechless.

So much of what I know about ancient Egypt, the pharaohs & history is found in this awesome place. Too much to see in 3 days.
We had a private guide which helped loads including adjusting our sightseeing plans to include things we knew nothing about. Valley of nobles & workers are both worth adding in, not just the kings. The hot air balloon ride was well worth the extra as was the evening light & sound show.
Travel was easy in a private car.
We mostly ate at the hotel because the food was so good.

Luxor is an amazing location, feels almost like an Italian city, with the antiquities in the heat of the city, the wide river and river boats.
We met really nice people, but unfortunately met a few scammers too.
Shopping can be a bit of a hassle, with people pulling you in. I gave up and shopped in Cairo instead.

A beautiful city, my second trip following a trip last November to valley of the kings. I wanted to come back just to see the city and it didn’t disappoint. I just wish I had had more time than 2days, 1 night… I will be back to lovely Luxor. A surprise around every corner…

The hot air balloon was really the highlight of our tour in Luxor. No one should miss it along with the visits to the Valley of the Kings, Queens and Hatshetsup Palace. Downtown Luxor was also a must-see specially the old market place and the Luxor Temple and don't forget about the local food.

Luxor's archaeological sites are the most impressive I've ever seen. They are spectacular.
I went in April, in spring, and the temperature reached 38 degrees Celcius. The locals told me that in summer the temperature will be around 50 degrees.
The population appears to be very poor and the city is poorly maintained.

So much !
So much ! Magic Carpet Tours were excellent, organising a wonderful balloon ride, a dreamy sunset felucca trip to Banana Island, an amazing driver called Hassim who took me to the Valley of the KIngs, Hatshepsut's Temple, Karnak, Memnon Colossi, Temple of Luxor, and didn't hurry me at all. He drove me to Aswan the next day via Edfu and Kom Ombo. Luxor is fabulous, busy, lots of street sellers trying to get you buy or ride in their horse carriage, but a polite 'La Shukran' (no thank you) was fine and they are just making a living like the rest of us! Nefertiti Hotel was a peaceful sanctuary, and I would not have missed Luxor for the world. Personal highlights: Karnak Temples and Seti's tomb at the Valley of the Kings - awe-inspiring.
The apartment was huge and nice, with a large terrasse with a view towards the nile! And the price is very low! In hindsight, I belive they could and should charge more for it. The host Taha is an exceptional nice guy, really focused on the guests well being. He even showed me the countryside with his motorbike. We opted for his offer with a personal driver, which was very nice and effective. Egyptian dinner at the hotel was fantastic. Do not think he is trying to rip you off, he is not. He is working hard for a living!
The staff was super helpful from the moment we arrived. I got sick on the train on the way to Luxor, and luckily one of the staff members Noor was also a nurse who provided immediate medical care and I was good to go for my pre-planned tour. The hotel has an in-house tour company called Aladin Tours as well. The tours were amazing, and the guide Rania was super knowledgeable on the ancient Egyptian history. The rooftop restaurant was great as well. Chef Abu Zizo ensured we got good service and food.
The hosts are amazing and very very nice! They truly care that their guests have a great experience in the way YOU want. Best of all, they honestly provide you with all the information needed to explore Luxor without being pushy to take their services unlike oftentimes in Egypt. They helped to save us a great deal by pointing out local shops and transportation. The Egyptian breakfast was also great and the restaurant has a great view on the West Bank monuments! Thank you for having us!
The hotel is super nice, rooms are spatious and very clean, Mr Ismail help us with everything we need all the time when we stay at the hotel! At hotel are 3 restaurants ( Chinese, Italian and Lotus with Egyptian food) We eat just at the Lotus Restaurant where is egyptian food. The food was very tasty and more! Hotel style is very nice! I love it and for me is one of my favourite Hotels in Egypt! Thank you! If we have the opportunity to come back, we will come back at this hotel! 🌻
Beautiful small hotel. Breakfast is always plentiful with Egyptian foul, omelette and lots of dips. Very delicious food. Everyone and especially Mr Said, the manager, is super helpful with everything concerning tours and rides. Prices are reasonable. The hotel lies on the quieter West Bank. Taking the Hotel Tuctuc for 50 EGP to the ferry and then getting to the other side for 10 EGP is my preferred way to get to the city. Everything was easy and we enjoyed a relaxing week there.
The hotel host Hassen is so nice! He helped us solve all the problems in Luxor, he helped us arrange hot air balloon trips, and helped us arrange chartered cars. He can also help us exchange Egyptian pounds, take us to the souvenir shop, and help us bargain. When we left, they took us to eat local traditional food, and then sent us to the platform of the train station. All this moved us very much. If you travel to Luxor on your own, this hotel is definitely the first choice.
If you get the chance to stay at this place in Luxor, do so! We stayed there for 4 nights and had our best stay in whole Egypt. Mohammed and Kaream are so friendly and welcoming and help you with everything you need. Also, we used the pool everyday, as it was so refreshing after sightseeing. Food is amazing. We booked the ballon tour with the hotel and everything went as planned. As it is one of the budget-friendly places in Luxor, value for money is unbeatable.
Everything!! This place is absolutely incredible. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful. Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the east bank, but just a 2 minute complimentary boat ride across. Every detail of this place has been well thought out. Menu changes each day and the food was excellent! You would be doing yourself a disservice not to stay here during your time in Luxor. It was my favorite stay in all of Egypt.
Perfect location, less than 5min walking to the Luxor Temple. Also very close to the Market
The rooftop was amazing as was the food from the Restaurant.
Impecable staff, they even provided us a breakfast box in one of the days we had to leave the Hotel very early.
And of course we have to mention the nicest Housekeeping Responsible Mahmoud.
It was our favorite Hotel during our stay in Egypt and we would definitely stay here again.
Location was great, every important place was near. The apartment is small but since Luxor is a city for exploring ancient history, you won't spend much time inside anyway. The hosts, Austin and Abeer are some of the nicest people we've met in Egypt so far and were very relaxed and helpful. The best part is the roof which is spacious, has a bar, a pool table and more. Definitely would recommend.
I liked pretty much everything about the hotel.
The location on the West Bank of the Nile is quiet and offers a look at ordinary Egyptian life.
The owner Foud is a great guy and was very helpful. The staff are really nice as well.
If you are traveling in summer the rooftop pool really comes in handy. The price is really good and the hotel has a lot of character.
The hotel was great and the staff were very kind and helpful. We felt at home, yet also as if we were in an exotic ancient paradise. You feel like you're really in Egypt here. The breakfast was delicious and the outside cafeteria area is heavenly. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Luxor and West Thebes.
It is hidden beaty in Luxor. We finished out trip under 50 degrees of sun and when we arrive the hotel, pool was great welcome for us . Totaly quite and peaceful place to stay. Nobody is trying to sell you anything like the other hoteld in Egypt.
Clean, fancy, breakfast was the nicest breakfast IN EGYPT so far. The breakfast area was nice overlooking the Luxor temple and Nile. Hotel itself had nice little pockets that were different to each other. Comfortable beds.
Staff were nice
it was a lovely hotel. The staff was great and very accommodating. Our waiter arranged a very special Egyptian dinner for us outside overlooking the Nile and Valley of the Kings. it was a very memorable night.
The hotel is close to the Luxor temple, very convinient for traveling. The room is clean but the hotel itself sometimes is with a bad smell. The breakfast is quite good with fresh fruit and some egyptian food.
It’s perfect for family traveling to Luxor.
The room had several beds and two televisions. The pool looked inviting and breakfast was nice. Good security and it has an atm machine for getting Egyptian Pounds.
great location- lovely rooms - best food we had in our Egypt stay - multiple restaurants and bars including on the Nile - modern rooms - one of our favourite 5 star hotels we stayed in out of 7 in Egypt
The location was great for visiting Luxor and the pool was amazing! The hotel is very modern and luxurious - not dated like some of the other big brand name hotels in Egypt.
